The next lunchtime discussion forum will take place on 18th May – 12.30pm – 1.45pm
Irene Broadley-Westerduin will be facilitating our discussions on Embodiment. She will explore different practices to use for psychologists to help with centring, grounding and understanding the different terms. This session is about the mind/body relationship and how the body impacts cognitive and emotional issues. Irene will start us off with a short presentation before opening up the discussion. The session will enable participants to feel how quick practices can help cultivate self-awareness, self-regulation and different types of movement. Irene also aims to provide information on how embodiment can help focus and concentration to contribute to learning.
